As early as 1965 Giulio Repetto built his first Formula 875 car.
The Repetto company was based in Alessandria and produced 42 of these cars. There are 2 different basic types. One with a round nose and one with a flat nose.
Repetto stuck with the overhung engine and built a simple frame: two side members of two tubes each, joined by a plate into a box. It was stiff, and the car stayed competitive for years with few changes.
An article in the Gazzetta dello Sport shows a chassis #021 of 1969. Of that car we have nothing; it is missing from the register.

On the first name: our records say Giulio, two Italian retrospectives say Pino — most recently Eugenio Mosca: «Pino Repetto fu uno dei primi Costruttori a realizzare un proprio telaio di F. Monza.» Which is right remains open.
