Prinoth

In July 1963 Ernesto Prinoth (1923 – 1981), owner of the Officina Prinoth, presented his latest creation, the Baby Junior P. As the general importer of Steyr Puch engines and gearboxes in Italy he had good connections to the Steyr works.

The car had the engine and the gearbox of the Steyr Puch 650TR fitted and was intended for the entry-level Junior Baby class. This car was built 7 times and won a great many races with well-known drivers such as Tonino Ascari (I), Herbert Demetz (I), Erwin Gassler (A). Ernesto himself never raced the Baby.
