RGB
Ragaiolo, Gaudenzi, «Baffo»
The initials stand for the three men involved: Orazio Ragaiolo together with his brother Maurizio, Gaudenzi as the maker of the body, and a Milanese engineer friend nicknamed «Baffo» who drew the chassis.
Orazio Ragaiolo won the 1972 championship with 48 points. As early as 1970 he was racing a car that appears in the results lists under his own name, «Ragaiolo»; «Cimarra» drove one as well.
In 1973 Anacleto Gianoli raced an RGB and finished sixth in the championship; in the constructors’ standings RGB stood fourth. In 1974 Gianoli won several rounds and led the championship until he destroyed his engine in the last round.
