Enzo Grasselli
Driver and constructor in one
The car carried his name because he had built it himself: «sulla vettura di sua costruzione», as the report puts it. At the 1972 final round Grasselli won the second heat in the rain with the fastest time of the day, 16’48″9; in the final he was fourth.
The following year he stood third on the podium of the ninth round, though on a Repetto. His engine was said to be far faster than all the others. Beyond that we know nothing about him.
