A Milanese, champion in 1966 with five wins on a C.R.M. His hardest rival was Santino Pancotti, also on a C.R.M.; Pancotti going off in the last round decided both the race and the championship. Third was Giovanni Salvati on an Ambivero.

He was there from the start: the entry list of May 1965 gives him number 10 for the Jolly Club. In that same year 1966 Maurizio Montagnani won the second championship, the Coppa nazionale CSAI.
