Moroni appears in Romolo Tavoni’s list of constructors as «Moroni di Lodi». The workshop was Sandro Moroni’s in Lodi; Leo Bartoli, the 1974 champion, began his apprenticeship there in 1961.
No car under the Moroni name appears in any results list. The Scuderia Moroni, on the other hand, is documented: it finished eighth with eleven points in the 1973 Coppa Scuderie. In an undated entry list three drivers are entered for it – Ugo Carini, Vittorio Valvassori and Giovanni Pluderi – in all three cases without a make being given.
