NSU was already building the Balilla and the Topolino under licence. When licence production resumed in 1957, NSU was renamed Neckar.

Between 1957 and 1971 Neckar built FIAT vehicles under licence. When FIAT did not release the larger 124, 125 and 128 models for licence production, output at Neckar fell steadily until the plants closed in 1971.

Neckar Pully

The Neckar vehicle factory built the Pully three-wheeler. Engine and gearbox, as well as many smaller parts, come from the Fiat 500.

Neckar Panorama

Vehicles from Autobianchi production were also turned into Neckars.
