T. P. L. V. stands for Tout pour la Voiture; the firm was based at 32, rue Pinel in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. What it lived on is set out in an advertisement of July 1967 — same address and same telephone number as on this brochure: original spare parts for Fiat and Neckar, mechanical and body parts, a full stock of original paint, dispatch to the provinces and delivery in Paris. The brochure also carries the commercial register entry “R.C. Seine 54 B 2798”.

Who built the car is printed on the sheet: “Cette voiture dérivée du modèle 500 Fiat a été réalisée dans les ateliers de Jacques Gauchet” — the car derived from the Fiat 500 was made in the workshops of Jacques Gauchet.

The printer’s line along the edge of the sheet, “Sogep - Paris - 10-66”, dates the brochure to October 1966. There the car is called Torpédo Blue Green.
