Fiat 126 POP Electric

In 1993 the company AutoSol in Konstanz converted around 15 Fiat 126 Pop into electric vehicles. The cars were called Pop-n-Go, or Elektro for short.

The photographs and the text were made available to me by Gunther Kufner. Thank you!

The Fiat has 13 lead-acid batteries of 60 Ah, enough for a range of about 60 to 80 km – as long as the batteries are new and the terrain is reasonably flat.

The drive controller, an ACM200, was made by the company Brusa in Sennwald, Switzerland.
