Ferves Cargo 807
Chassis number 807, one of the last 4x4s built.
In France, nice and dry out in the open, I found the Ferves ;-). It was being used as a scrap-metal store.
Freed from all that scrap, it still made a sad impression. Many parts are missing, but the floorpan is not badly affected by rust … perhaps two can be made into one …
Home at last, I took photographs to document the condition and the position of the various parts.
Dismantling proved difficult, as several bolts would only come loose with a great deal of force.
The spring is probably no longer usable. Fortunately Ferves drew on the Fiat parts bin here: all four springs are from the Fiat 600 D.
