This coachbuilder was based in Parma. At the 1967 Turin Motor Show, Zanella presented its prototype of an “Oldie” on the Glasurit stand; the vehicle is named “Erina”. In spring 1969 the first cars were delivered to customers. A total of 58 cars were built.
The Erina
Built in 1968, 499.5 cc. The two-seater spider is built on the chassis of the Fiat 500 F; the side members are reinforced and boxed in. The steering wheel is adjustable for height by means of a universal joint at the output of the steering box, the seats are trimmed in imitation leather. The hood of waterproof cloth has a tubular frame and, when folded, stows behind the seat backs. Engine and running gear come from the Fiat 500 F. The list price was 925,000 lire. The car entered the museum on 19 October 2013.
