Auto Mirage, based in via Mazzini in Bologna, was founded in 1971 by a group of enthusiasts. It was a very successful company, not least thanks to its competitive pricing. The Pick Wick was built in 1974 on the Fiat 500 and 126 base.

The Steinwinter company imported the Pick Wick into Germany. After small changes it was sold under the name Amigo.

Auto Mirage headlamps were square, Steinwinter’s partly round. That is how you tell which vehicle you are looking at.

This is how the cars turn up.
