Der Designer Peter Stevens gründete das Unternehmen Simpatico in East Dereham in der Grafschaft Norfolk. Er begann in Zusammenarbeit mit der Dove Car Company unter Leitung von Colin Jones mit der Produktion von Automobilen und Kits. Der Markenname lautete Barchetta. 1996/1997 endete die Produktion. Insgesamt entstanden 9 - 12 Exemplare (Je nach Quelle). Danach wurden die Originalformen zerstört.
The designer Peter Stevens founded the brand Simpatico in East Durham in the county of Norfolk. He began producing cars and kits in partnership with the Dove Car Company, led by Colin Jones. The model name given was Barchetta 595. Production ended in 1996/1997. All in all 9 - 12 copies were produced (depending on source). Afterwards the original moulds were destroyed.

The car on offer, made on the base of a donor 1982 Fiat 126 model, was sold in England, in 1993, then in 1996 it joined the Catimini collection. The car is in perfect original condition and its meter displays 878 miles only. Featuring Nardi steering wheel, OZ rims with low-profile tires, custom-made fiberglass bucket seats: nothing is missing from this little pocket rocket, whose quality of execution is surprising. This real collector car is in perfect condition and comes with an old V5, and it will be up to the buyer to figure out the registration procedures depending on the country of destination.
